Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 15, 2026

This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have when using Sklunde.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Sklunde collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our AI video and image generation service, website, dashboard, billing flows, and related features.

For this policy, “Sklunde,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Sklunde service and its authorized operators.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, profile details provided through Google sign-in, and account settings.

Creative content: prompts, uploaded images, reference images, generated videos, generated images, filenames, metadata, and related generation settings such as duration, format, quality, and status.

Billing information: subscription tier, checkout status, trial status, invoices, payment status, customer identifiers, and subscription events. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Sklunde.

Usage and device information: pages visited, actions taken, generation history, IP address, browser, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, logs, error events, security signals, internal usage measurements, and plan-access events.

Support communications: messages, screenshots, files, or other information you send when asking for help or reporting a problem.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, provide the dashboard, process generation jobs, store generation history, show previews and downloads, and operate subscriptions.

We use creative content to provide requested generation, enhancement, upload, preview, download, and history features.

We use billing and subscription data to start trials, manage paid plans, process invoices, prevent abuse, and enforce plan access.

We use technical, usage, and internal metering information to secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, debug errors, improve reliability, allocate capacity, apply fair-use controls, measure product performance, and understand how the service is used.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product improvement, capacity planning, and business reporting.

4. AI processing and creative content

Sklunde processes prompts, uploaded images, and generation settings to produce requested outputs. Depending on the selected feature, content may be processed by infrastructure and service providers that help us run AI generation, storage, security, logging, and delivery.

Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use, content that includes sensitive personal information unless necessary, or content that violates our Terms of Service.

We may process content, metadata, account signals, and usage patterns to detect abuse, enforce safety rules, investigate violations, and protect users, third parties, and Sklunde.

Generated outputs may be imperfect, inaccurate, or similar to outputs generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them publicly or commercially.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, including account access, generation features, billing, and support.

We also process information for legitimate interests such as security, abuse prevention, service improvement, debugging, analytics, and business operations.

We process certain information with your consent when required, such as optional marketing communications or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent where applicable.

We may process information when necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Sklunde, or others.

6. How we share information

Service providers: we share information with vendors that provide hosting, storage, databases, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, security checks, logging, analytics, error monitoring, and AI generation infrastructure.

Payment processors: Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, invoices, and related billing events according to its own privacy practices.

Authentication providers: if you sign in with Google, Google provides account information needed to authenticate you, and your use of Google sign-in is also governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, investigate abuse, or enforce our terms.

Business transfers: if Sklunde is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Cookies, analytics, and security tools

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the service, support billing flows, and understand product usage.

We may use security tools such as Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect bots and abuse. These tools may process technical signals such as IP address, browser information, and interaction data.

We may use analytics and error monitoring tools to understand usage, diagnose failures, improve performance, and keep the service reliable. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some technologies may affect core functionality.

8. Data retention

We keep account, billing, generation, and support information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

Generated content and uploads may remain available in your account history until deleted, expired, or removed according to product functionality, storage limits, legal requirements, or abuse prevention needs.

Backups, logs, and security records may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You may also have the right to withdraw consent, opt out of certain marketing communications, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise rights, contact us through the support or privacy contact published by Sklunde. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. International transfers

Sklunde and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your local laws.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized mechanisms.

11. Adults only

Sklunde is intended only for users who are 18 years old or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information or created an account, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and connected authentication accounts secure.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the date above, posting a notice, or sending a notification where appropriate.

Your continued use of Sklunde after an update means the updated policy applies from its effective date.

14. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact Sklunde through the support or privacy contact published in the service or on the website.
